Renewable Fuel for Ocean-Going Vessels Act

Summary#

This bill would change the Clean Air Act to allow fuel for ocean-going vessels to be treated as additional renewable fuel for the federal renewable fuel credit program. It amends section 211(o)(1)(A) to add "fuel for ocean-going vessels" to the list of fossil fuels that may generate renewable fuel credits. The change would apply beginning the second calendar year after the law is enacted.
