Comprehensive NASA Reporting Act of 2025

Summary#

The bill requires the Administrator of NASA to provide any report or notice given to Congress at the same time to two specific committees: the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. Nonpublic reports, including privileged reports, reprogramming requests, and spend plans given to those committees must be treated as confidential committee documents and not disclosed publicly. If the United States becomes a signatory to an international agreement or nonbinding instrument about activities in outer space that involves NASA, the Administrator must send a copy of that agreement or instrument within 15 days to four committees: the Senate Committees on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and Foreign Relations, and the House Committees on Science, Space, and Technology and Foreign Affairs.
