Summary#

This bill adds a new subsection to section 304 of the Magnuson‑Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act. It says that fishing in a marine national monument cannot be prohibited or regulated by a Presidential proclamation made under the Antiquities Act of 1906 (title 54, section 320301). That restriction applies to any existing Presidential proclamation. The bill also says fishing in a marine national monument will continue to be regulated under the Magnuson‑Stevens Act, consistent with other applicable law.
