This bill adds a reporting requirement to a section of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. It requires the Secretary to send reports to four congressional committees and to post them online. The first report must come within six months of the bill becoming law and then at least every six months after that. Each report must include, for each covered clean energy demonstration project supported by the program: (1) a copy of any initial contracts or financial assistance agreements between the Department and the award recipient (and related documentation as the Secretary decides appropriate); (2) a list of material, technical, or financial milestones that have or have not been met; and (3) any material changes to the project’s scope, schedule, funding profile (including cost-share requirements), project partners or participating entities, or budget. The Secretary may, when practical, align these reports with other existing reporting requirements, including certain reports required under the Energy Act of 2020.
